The Rockets' Red Glare trailer: First Installment

Shot in 2002, this short trailer
recounts the horrors and hazards of the work done at
Boeing's Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL),
one of the country's premiere nuclear and rocket test sites.

Numerous nuclear accidents,
over 30,000 open-air rocket tests,
illegal burning of chemical and probable nuclear wastes
and epidemics of rare cancers are among the many ills
that plague this site just outside of Los Angeles.

The ongoing struggle to gain
an EPA-level cleanup and proper worker compensation
is also addressed
